Dr. Shirin Arkwazee earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Penn Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania — one of the nation's top dental schools. Before that, she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Iraq, where she began her dental career.
She focuses on patient education so that every person who sits in her chair feels truly informed about their oral health and the options available to them. She believes that when patients understand their care, they make better decisions and feel more at ease.
Outside the office, Dr. Arkwazee enjoys painting and handcrafts, and spending time with her husband Ibrahim, daughter Tanya, and son Musa.
